TALKIYO is designed to provide a supportive space for respectful and meaningful conversations that promote emotional well-being. These Community Guidelines establish the standards expected from everyone using the platform and are intended to support a safe, inclusive, and trustworthy environment.
As an intermediary under applicable Indian law, Talkisam Private Limited provides the technology and infrastructure that enables users to connect, communicate, and share content. Users remain responsible for the content they create, upload, transmit, or interact with on TALKIYO, as well as for their own conduct on the platform. TALKIYO does not assume responsibility for user-generated content or user conduct except to the extent required under applicable law.
These Community Guidelines form part of TALKIYO's Platform Policies and should be read together with the TALKIYO Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. By using TALKIYO, you are expected to understand and follow these standards.
WHY THESE GUIDELINES EXIST
TALKIYO's Community Guidelines are intended to set clear expectations for how users should interact with one another and use the platform. They help us maintain an environment where people can communicate freely while reducing behaviour and content that may cause harm, harassment, exploitation, or disruption.
Following these standards is a shared responsibility. Every user contributes to the quality and safety of the TALKIYO community through the way they communicate, the content they share, and the way they treat others.
Where we identify a violation, we may respond according to the circumstances. Actions can include restricting or removing content, limiting platform features, suspending an account, or permanently terminating access to TALKIYO. In situations involving serious safety concerns or suspected unlawful activity, we may also cooperate with law-enforcement or other competent authorities where required or permitted by applicable law.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
These Community Guidelines describe the principal standards that apply on TALKIYO, but they cannot anticipate every form of harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful behaviour that may arise on the platform. Conduct may therefore be treated as a violation even if it is not expressly listed, particularly where it conflicts with the safety, integrity, or purpose of TALKIYO.
Users should also understand that violating these Guidelines may, depending on the nature of the conduct, result in consequences under applicable Indian law in addition to action taken by TALKIYO.
If you encounter content or behaviour that you reasonably believe may involve a breach of law, particularly conduct that presents an immediate or serious risk to a person or the public, you should consider reporting it to the appropriate law-enforcement agency or other competent authority.
PROFILE AND USER CONDUCT
Your TALKIYO profile should provide an honest representation of you and must be used in a manner consistent with these Community Guidelines. The following standards apply to every account:
- Age & Eligibility TALKIYO is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. You must not create or maintain an account that falsely presents you as being under 18, nor may an underage person use the platform. TALKIYO may request appropriate age or identity verification where reasonably necessary. Accounts identified as belonging to individuals below the minimum age may be restricted or removed in accordance with applicable law.
- Privacy and Personal Boundaries Respect the privacy of other users. Do not publish, request, collect, or share another person's photographs, phone number, email address, social-media details, location, or other personal information without appropriate consent. You should likewise avoid sharing your own direct contact or sensitive personal information with other users through TALKIYO. Threats, intimidation, coercion, manipulation, or harassment are not acceptable.
- Lawful Use Your profile, calls, messages, media, and other activity on TALKIYO must comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations. You must not use the platform for conduct that is unlawful or prohibited under these Community Guidelines, whether the activity occurs through a profile, private interaction, or any other feature.
- Reporting a Concern If you encounter content or behaviour that you believe violates these Guidelines, you can use TALKIYO's in-app Block & Report functionality or contact our Grievance Officer at grievance.officer@talkiyo.in. Reports may be reviewed and appropriate action may be taken based on the circumstances, our policies, and applicable law.
SEXUAL CONTENT, NUDITY AND UNWANTED SEXUAL CONDUCT
TALKIYO is intended for respectful, non-sexual interactions. Users must not use profiles, calls, messages, images, video, audio, or other platform features to expose, exchange, promote, or solicit sexually explicit material or behaviour.

- Displaying genitals, the pubic area, bare buttocks, nipples or areolas, or clearly recognisable intimate outlines.
- Appearing nude, shirtless indoors, or dressed only in underwear or similar undergarments such as bras, vests, or briefs.
- Wearing or displaying lingerie or clothing presented in a clearly sexualised manner.
- Showing the buttocks or genitals of a child or baby, including where the area is partially covered or obscured.
Sexualised Interaction
Users must not turn conversations or live interactions into sexual activity or sexually suggestive behaviour. This includes:
- Sexual gestures, deliberately suggestive facial expressions, or other sexually provocative behaviour.
- Simulating, acting out, or implying sexual acts, even where there is no explicit visual depiction.
- Using calls or messages to initiate or continue sexually explicit conversations.
- Displaying, referring to, or deliberately drawing attention to underwear or intimate clothing.
- Sending or using sexually explicit, obscene, or vulgar language directed at another user.
Sexual Material in Digital or Fictional Form
The restriction is not limited to real people. Users must not share or display cartoons, anime, illustrations, memes, avatars, digitally generated material, or other fictional content when it depicts nudity or sexual activity.
Commercial Sexual Activity and Sexualised Transactions
TALKIYO must not be used to arrange, advertise, promote, purchase, or facilitate:
- Sexual services, escort services, or other forms of commercial sexual activity.

Sexual behaviour that is unwanted or unwelcome is prohibited regardless of whether physical contact occurs. This includes:
- Sending unsolicited sexual photographs, videos, or other explicit material.
- Exposing intimate body parts or deliberately "flashing" another user during a call.

- Making unwanted sexual comments, questions, propositions, or advances.
- Sexualising or fetishising another person without their consent.
- Sending unwanted sexualised memes, drawings, imagery, pornography, or links to explicit material.
TALKIYO may remove violating content and may restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts involved in serious or repeated violations. Where conduct may involve exploitation, abuse, non-consensual intimate material, or other unlawful activity, additional action may be taken in accordance with applicable law.
CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE
TALKIYO follows a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any content, activity, or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, or sexualises children. This standard applies to every user and to all forms of content, whether real, fictional, digital, written, visual, or otherwise. Any violation may result in immediate removal of the relevant content, restriction or termination of the responsible account, and reporting to law-enforcement or other competent authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law.
You must not create, upload, share, transmit, request, solicit, discuss, promote, facilitate, or otherwise engage with content or activity that:
- depicts, promotes, facilitates, or relates to the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child in any form;
- sexualises a child, whether the person is real or fictional, including through anime, illustrations, digital images, avatars, text, or other media;
- involves child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual exploitation, or attempts to facilitate such conduct, including fictional or digitally created depictions;
- depicts, describes, encourages, or discusses sexually explicit conduct involving anyone under 18, including where presented as fictional, artistic, educational, or otherwise non-real;
- contains explicit or harmful material involving child abuse even when presented for shock value, awareness, commentary, or educational purposes;
- provides or distributes links, referrals, or other access to third-party services or websites containing child sexual abuse material; or
- encourages, pressures, coerces, or assists another person in creating, obtaining, sharing, or distributing such material.
Sharing Photos of Children on TALKIYO
We recognise that users may wish to share appropriate photographs or personal memories involving children or their own childhood. Such content is permitted only where it is non-sexual, appropriate, and does not expose or sexualise a child. Photos of children must show them appropriately and fully clothed. This standard also applies to photographs from a user's own childhood.
You must never share an image showing a child's genitals or buttocks, including where those areas are partially covered, obscured, blurred, or concealed using emojis, stickers, or other visual elements.
For the purposes of these Community Guidelines, "child" or "minor" means a person under 18 years of age.
HARASSMENT, BULLYING AND PERSONAL ATTACKS
TALKIYO is intended for genuine and respectful interactions. Users must not use the platform to demean, intimidate, harass, humiliate, threaten, or deliberately target another person or group. Disagreements, criticism, or differences of opinion are permitted, but they must not become abusive or harmful conduct.
The following behaviour is prohibited:
- Repeatedly insulting, ridiculing, humiliating, provoking, or intimidating another user.
- Making unwanted or degrading remarks about another person's appearance, body, physical characteristics, or other personal attributes.
- Using threatening, abusive, degrading, or seriously offensive language, including during audio or video calls.

- Posting, sharing, or promoting material that mocks, humiliates, glorifies, or otherwise shows serious disrespect towards people affected by suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or their families.
These standards apply to all users, including public figures, creators, and other widely known individuals. TALKIYO does not prohibit legitimate criticism, disagreement, satire, or negative opinions merely because they are unfavourable. However, such expression must not involve targeted harassment, threats, personal abuse, or other conduct prohibited by these Guidelines.
IDENTITY, EQUALITY AND RESPECT
TALKIYO welcomes users from different backgrounds and expects everyone to be treated with dignity. We do not permit the platform to be used to demean, exclude, threaten, or promote hostility towards a person or community because of an identity-related characteristic.
Users must not direct hateful, degrading, or discriminatory content towards others because of characteristics such as:
- Sex, gender identity, race, ethnicity, caste, religion, or disability.
- Sexual orientation, nationality, citizenship, or immigration status.
- A serious medical condition or personal belief.
- Physical or visible characteristics, including complexion, facial appearance, body features, or hair.
- Ancestry, hereditary characteristics, or perceived genetic background.
This rule also covers content that portrays an entire community as inferior, unworthy, subhuman, inherently dangerous, or deserving of mistreatment because of such characteristics. Attempts to encourage others to discriminate against, exclude, or mistreat a protected or marginalised group are likewise prohibited.
VIOLENCE, EXTREMISM AND DANGEROUS GROUPS
TALKIYO must not be used to organise, promote, recruit for, or otherwise support individuals or groups whose activities involve terrorism, violent extremism, or serious violence. This applies to both direct participation and content that meaningfully encourages or assists such activities.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Promoting, coordinating, or encouraging acts of violence or violent operations.
- Praising, celebrating, endorsing, or attempting to justify terrorism or violence motivated by extremist or hateful ideologies.
- Supporting recruitment, mobilisation, fundraising, or other activities carried out on behalf of violent extremist or terrorist groups.
- Using TALKIYO to spread propaganda or material intended to advance violent extremist causes.
- Representing, promoting, or materially supporting organisations or individuals known to be associated with terrorism or violent extremist activity.
TALKIYO may restrict content or accounts involved in such activity and may take further action, including reporting matters to appropriate authorities, where required or permitted by applicable law.
AUTHENTICITY AND IDENTITY
TALKIYO is designed around real interactions between genuine users. Your profile and the way you present yourself should not intentionally create a false impression about who you are or important facts about you.
The following are not permitted:
- Pretending to be another person, including by using manipulated media or deceptive deepfake content.
- Providing false or misleading information about significant profile details, such as age, gender, or other information that may affect how another user understands or interacts with you.
- Creating a fabricated identity or deliberately misleading persona to deceive, manipulate, or "catfish" another user.
- Using another person's photographs, identity, or profile information in a manner that falsely suggests you are that person.
TALKIYO may take action against profiles or accounts that are found to be deceptive, fraudulent, impersonating others, or materially misleading. Depending on the circumstances, this may include restricting, suspending, or removing the account.
CONTENT INTEGRITY AND HARMFUL FALSEHOODS
TALKIYO aims to keep conversations grounded in information that does not put people or communities at unnecessary risk. Users must not knowingly or recklessly use the platform to circulate false or materially misleading claims when those claims could reasonably result in serious harm, fear, unsafe decisions, or public disruption.
This may include, for example:
- Sharing health-related claims that contradict established guidance from recognised medical or public-health authorities where doing so could put people at risk.
- Spreading deceptive claims about elections, voting, government procedures, public institutions, or civic processes in a way that could mislead or cause harm.
- Promoting dangerous conspiracy narratives that encourage people to distrust essential services, target individuals or groups, or take harmful actions.
- Presenting information as factual when it is clearly and demonstrably false, particularly where the subject matter has significant safety or public-interest consequences.
- Deliberately manipulating, fabricating, or selectively presenting information to create a seriously misleading impression that may endanger others.
Users are expected to exercise reasonable care before sharing information that could materially affect another person's safety or important decisions. TALKIYO may remove, restrict, or otherwise act on content that violates these standards, including where the harmful impact arises from irresponsible sharing rather than an intention to cause harm.
THREATS, VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ABUSE
TALKIYO is committed to preventing the platform from being used to threaten, facilitate, encourage, or carry out real-world violence or sexual abuse. Users must not use calls, messages, profiles, media, or any other feature of TALKIYO to cause, arrange, or assist serious physical or sexual harm.
The following conduct is prohibited:
- Stalking, tracking, or repeatedly pursuing a person in a manner that creates fear, distress, or a genuine safety concern.
- Using TALKIYO to arrange, facilitate, promote, or support human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or other forms of abuse.
- Threatening or attempting to cause physical injury to another person.
- Engaging in, requesting, encouraging, or facilitating unwanted sexual contact or sexual assault.
- Using the platform to identify, target, recruit, transport, or otherwise exploit a person for violent or sexual purposes.
Accounts involved in serious violence, sexual abuse, trafficking, or related exploitation may be immediately restricted or permanently removed. Where appropriate or legally required, TALKIYO may also cooperate with law-enforcement authorities or other competent agencies.
FRAUD, FINANCIAL DECEPTION AND UNAUTHORISED TAKING
TALKIYO must not be used to obtain money, gifts, property, financial assistance, or other benefits from another person through deception, manipulation, false representation, or dishonest conduct. Users are expected to be transparent about their identity and intentions when interacting with others.
Examples of prohibited conduct include:
- Soliciting money, loans, investments, donations, or financial assistance from other users through TALKIYO.
- Making false statements or deliberately concealing important facts in order to obtain a financial or material advantage.
- Creating or encouraging a false romantic or emotional connection with someone for the purpose of obtaining money, gifts, or other benefits.
- Falsifying significant personal information, including your name, age, gender, or location, when doing so is intended to facilitate fraud or obtain an unfair financial advantage.
- Taking, obtaining, or attempting to obtain another person's money, belongings, property, or other assets without their knowledge or lawful permission.
- Requesting, collecting, disclosing, or attempting to obtain another person's OTP, PIN, password, card details, bank credentials, UPI credentials, or other payment/security information.
Protect your account and financial information: TALKIYO will not require you to disclose an OTP, password, PIN, card security code, or banking credential through another user. You should never share such information with anyone claiming to act on behalf of TALKIYO unless the request is made through an officially verified and authorised channel.
Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal of the account. Where circumstances warrant, TALKIYO may preserve relevant information and cooperate with law-enforcement or other competent authorities in accordance with applicable law.
SELF-HARM, SUICIDE AND DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR
TALKIYO is intended to provide a space for people to connect and communicate safely. We recognise that users may sometimes talk about difficult experiences involving mental health, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, substance use, or eating-related difficulties. Discussing a personal experience or seeking support is not, by itself, a violation. Such conversations should remain respectful and should not place others at risk.
TALKIYO does not permit content or behaviour that turns these subjects into encouragement, instruction, glorification, or a means of promoting harmful acts. In particular, users must not:
- Encourage, instruct, pressure, challenge, or assist another person to attempt suicide or engage in self-harm.
- Praise, romanticise, celebrate, or otherwise present suicide or self-injury as desirable, admirable, or an appropriate solution.
- Promote extreme dieting, dangerous weight-control practices, disordered eating, or harmful body-image behaviours.
- Upload, display, or circulate graphic material showing self-inflicted injuries, suicide, or attempts to cause serious bodily harm.
- Mock, glorify, shame, or show deliberate disrespect towards people affected by suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, including victims, survivors, or their families.
- Promote or encourage dangerous challenges, stunts, dares, or other activities where serious injury or death is a foreseeable risk.
TALKIYO may intervene when content creates a significant safety concern, including by removing content, restricting features, or taking action against an account. Where appropriate, we may also take steps to protect users and comply with applicable law.
GRAPHIC VIOLENCE AND DISTURBING MATERIAL
TALKIYO does not permit content that presents serious violence, severe injury, death, or human remains in a graphic or disturbing manner. This standard applies to material that is real, realistically depicted, digitally created, or presented through detailed descriptions where the purpose or effect is to shock, glorify, or cause distress.
The following types of content are not allowed:
Severe injury and bodily material
- Graphic displays of blood, bodily fluids, wounds, burns, mutilation, or serious physical injuries.
- Visible human bones, internal organs, corpses, or human remains.
- Graphic depictions of miscarriages, fetal remains, or similar sensitive material.
- Medical or surgical procedures when presented with disturbing levels of blood, injury, or exposed tissue.
- Graphic injuries resulting from self-harm, hunting, accidents, food preparation, or other activities.
Death, violence and criminal acts
- Images, videos, or other material showing graphic death, killing, severe injury, or mutilation.
- Depictions of corpses or human remains intended to shock, glorify violence, or cause distress.
- Content depicting kidnapping, abduction, torture, or comparable acts of severe physical harm.
- Content that threatens, celebrates, encourages, or advocates serious real-world violence.
- Violent material involving weapons where the presentation is intended to promote or glorify serious harm.
Weapon-related and extremist material
- Content featuring firearms or other weapons in a context that promotes, glorifies, or facilitates serious violence, except limited contextual depictions such as authorised law-enforcement or military personnel acting in an official capacity.
- References to terrorist, violent-extremist, or otherwise dangerous individuals or organisations in a manner that promotes, celebrates, or encourages violent activity.
Profiles and written content
- Usernames, profile descriptions, or other profile content containing graphic references to violence, killing, severe injury, or similar disturbing acts.
- Written descriptions that provide unnecessarily graphic detail about violent acts, injuries, death, or mutilation.
- Content that uses violent imagery, symbols, or fictional depictions to threaten, intimidate, glorify serious violence, or encourage harmful conduct.
TALKIYO may restrict or remove material that falls within these standards and may take action against accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate them. Context may be considered when reviewing content, but fictional, symbolic, edited, or digitally generated material is not automatically permitted simply because it is not real.
PLATFORM INTEGRITY AND ARTIFICIAL ACTIVITY
TALKIYO is built around authentic interactions between users. You must not use automated tools, scripts, bots, or other technical methods to artificially influence how the platform operates or how users interact with one another.
This includes attempts to:
- Generate or simulate calls, conversations, connections, engagement, or other user activity through bots or automation.
- Manipulate matching, visibility, availability, rankings, interaction frequency, or other platform mechanisms through scripts or automated processes.
- Use multiple accounts, coordinated activity, or technical workarounds to create artificial engagement or obtain an unfair advantage.
- Exploit bugs, technical weaknesses, or platform functionality to interfere with normal user activity or platform systems.
TALKIYO may investigate unusual or coordinated activity and may restrict accounts or activity where manipulation or abuse of the platform is identified.
ILLEGAL FINANCIAL ACTIVITY
TALKIYO must not be used to conduct, facilitate, promote, or conceal unlawful financial activity. Users are responsible for ensuring that any financial activity associated with their use of the platform complies with applicable law.

- Fraudulent financial schemes designed to deceive users, obtain money or property unlawfully, or circumvent regulatory or legal requirements.
- Using the platform to recruit or direct users into financial schemes that are unlawful, deceptive, or materially misleading.
Where serious financial misconduct is identified, TALKIYO may suspend or permanently remove the accounts involved and may cooperate with payment providers, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, or other competent authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law.
MALWARE, TECHNICAL ABUSE AND UNAUTHORISED ACCESS
TALKIYO must not be used to introduce malicious software, interfere with the platform's technical operation, compromise another user's device or account, or gain access to systems or information without authorisation. This applies to code, files, links, tools, modified applications, automated processes, and other technical methods.
Users must not:
- Upload, distribute, transmit, or facilitate malware, viruses, trojans, spyware, ransomware, keyloggers, or other harmful software through TALKIYO.
- Use unauthorised modifications, third-party tools, patched applications, or technical workarounds intended to change, bypass, or interfere with TALKIYO's normal functionality or security controls.
- Deploy bots, scripts, automated processes, exploits, or vulnerability-abuse techniques to interfere with platform operations or user activity.
- Attempt to access another person's account, credentials, private information, systems, or data without proper authorisation.
- Manipulate, falsify, or interfere with engagement data, calls, interactions, account activity, or other platform records.
- Use rooted, jailbroken, modified, or otherwise compromised environments to circumvent security mechanisms or platform restrictions.
- Create or use tools designed to scrape, copy, extract, collect, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or systematically access TALKIYO data or services without authorisation.
- Probe for, exploit, or attempt to bypass security vulnerabilities, access controls, rate limits, authentication mechanisms, or other technical safeguards.
- Distribute malicious links, files, code, or instructions intended to compromise TALKIYO, its infrastructure, or another user's device.
Any deliberate attempt to compromise the security, availability, integrity, or privacy of TALKIYO or its users may result in immediate restriction or permanent termination of the account. Depending on the nature of the activity, TALKIYO may also preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with law-enforcement or other competent authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law.
SPAM, DECEPTION AND UNWANTED PROMOTION
TALKIYO is intended for meaningful interactions and trustworthy communication. Users must not use the platform to flood others with unwanted material, artificially attract attention, or disguise the real purpose or destination of content.
The following behaviour is not permitted:
- Using exaggerated, fabricated, or deceptive claims, titles, descriptions, or promotional messages to attract clicks or interactions.
- Sharing phishing pages, malicious links, malware, or links designed to steal credentials, payment information, or other personal data.
- Repeatedly posting substantially similar messages or content to increase visibility, engagement, or exposure artificially.
- Sending unsolicited promotional material or using conversations primarily to distribute advertisements, referral schemes, offers, or commercial messages.
- Promoting a product, service, opportunity, or offer while deliberately concealing important conditions, costs, risks, or the true purpose of the promotion.
- Using misleading redirects, shortened links, fake destinations, or other techniques intended to make users believe they are accessing something different from the actual destination.
TALKIYO may limit the reach or functionality of content and may restrict, suspend, or permanently remove accounts involved in persistent spam, deceptive promotion, phishing, or other abusive distribution practices.
THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS AND CONTENT OWNERSHIP
When you upload, publish, transmit, or otherwise share material on TALKIYO, you are responsible for having the necessary rights or permissions to use that material. You must respect the intellectual property and other lawful rights of people, businesses, creators, and organisations.
You must not use TALKIYO to:
- Upload or distribute copyrighted works, photographs, videos, music, written material, software, or other protected content without the required permission or lawful basis.
- Use another person's trademark, brand identity, logo, or other protected material in a way that infringes their rights or creates a misleading impression of affiliation or ownership.
- Reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit third-party content where you do not have the legal right to do so.
- Share material that violates another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legally protected rights.
Certain uses of third-party material may be permitted where specifically authorised by the rights holder or allowed under applicable law, including applicable copyright exceptions or fair-use/fair-dealing principles. Such exceptions do not automatically permit every use, and users remain responsible for ensuring that their particular use is lawful.
If you share third-party content through TALKIYO, you are responsible for resolving any rights-related issue arising from that content and for obtaining any permissions required by law. TALKIYO may restrict or remove content where it receives a valid rights complaint or otherwise becomes aware of an apparent infringement, in accordance with applicable law and its Platform Policies.
AI FEATURES AND RESPONSIBLE USE
TALKIYO may provide AI-powered features to support conversations, generate responses, offer suggestions, or improve the overall user experience. These features are intended to assist users and should not be treated as a substitute for professional advice, independent judgment, or verified information.
When using any AI-enabled feature, users should:
- Avoid entering passwords, OTPs, financial credentials, confidential business information, highly sensitive personal information, or other information they would not want processed by an AI system.
- Understand that AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or inappropriate and should be evaluated accordingly.
- Not use AI features to generate or facilitate unlawful, abusive, hateful, fraudulent, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise prohibited material.
- Not deliberately manipulate, exploit, probe, or abuse AI systems to bypass TALKIYO's safety controls or generate content that would otherwise violate these Community Guidelines.
- Not use AI features for spam, automated abuse, impersonation, harassment, deception, or other activity that could harm users or interfere with the platform.
Depending on the feature, information submitted to or generated through AI functionality may be processed by TALKIYO and/or authorised third-party technology providers acting on our behalf. Such processing may occur in accordance with the TALKIYO Privacy Policy and applicable law. Users should review the relevant privacy information before providing information through AI-enabled features.
If you receive an AI-generated response that appears unsafe, inappropriate, materially misleading, or technically incorrect, please report it through the available reporting or support channels. Reports help TALKIYO investigate issues, improve safeguards, and maintain the responsible use of AI-powered functionality.

- Content that encourages, facilitates, or commercially promotes the misuse or abuse of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or controlled substances.
- Unauthorised gambling, betting, lotteries, or other regulated gaming activities.
- Promotion, advertising, referral, or surrogate promotion of an online game or gaming service where such activity is prohibited under applicable law, including promotion through an online gaming intermediary offering a non-permissible game.
Users must not attempt to disguise a prohibited commercial activity by presenting it as a personal conversation, informal recommendation, donation request, entertainment service, or another type of legitimate interaction.
TALKIYO may remove such content and restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts involved in prohibited commercial activity. Where required or appropriate, information may also be shared with relevant authorities or other authorised parties in accordance with applicable law.
NATIONAL INTEGRITY, SECURITY AND PUBLIC ORDER
TALKIYO respects India's constitutional framework, national symbols, public institutions, and the country's security and sovereignty. Content or conduct that unlawfully threatens these interests or is intended to cause serious disruption is not permitted on the platform.
Users must not use TALKIYO to:
- Deliberately desecrate, misuse, or promote unlawful disrespect towards the Indian national flag, national anthem, or other officially recognised national symbols.

Nothing in these Guidelines is intended to prohibit lawful discussion, criticism, academic debate, journalism, political expression, or peaceful disagreement. TALKIYO may take action where content crosses into conduct prohibited by applicable Indian law or presents a genuine risk to public safety, national security, or public order.
COMPLIANCE WITH INDIAN LAW
All activity carried out through TALKIYO, including profiles, calls, messages, media, and other user-generated content, must comply with applicable laws and regulations in India.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their conduct and content do not violate applicable legal requirements, including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, together with applicable rules, regulations, notifications, amendments, and other laws in force from time to time.
Where applicable law imposes additional requirements or restrictions on particular content or conduct, those legal requirements will apply regardless of whether the conduct is expressly described in these Community Guidelines.
ENFORCEMENT AND ACCOUNT ACTIONS
TALKIYO may take appropriate measures when a user, profile, interaction, or other activity is found to be inconsistent with these Community Guidelines, the Terms of Use, or applicable law. The response will depend on the circumstances of the particular case rather than following a single fixed penalty.
Depending on the seriousness and nature of the issue, TALKIYO may:
- Remove or restrict access to the content involved.
- Notify the user or issue a warning where appropriate.
- Temporarily limit an account, feature, or other platform functionality.
- Suspend an account for a specified period.
- Permanently disable or remove an account in serious or repeated cases.
When determining the appropriate response, we may consider factors such as the severity of the conduct, whether it is repeated, the potential or actual harm caused, the context, the user's history of violations, and the risk posed to other users or the platform.
For serious matters involving suspected criminal activity, threats to safety, exploitation, or other unlawful conduct, TALKIYO may preserve relevant information and cooperate with law-enforcement agencies or other competent authorities where required or permitted by applicable law.
Enforcement action under these Guidelines does not prevent TALKIYO from taking additional measures that may be available under its Terms of Use or applicable law.
GUIDELINE UPDATES AND USER REVIEW
TALKIYO may revise these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, community standards, technology, or applicable legal requirements. Where a material change requires user notification, TALKIYO may communicate the update through appropriate official channels, which may include SMS, WhatsApp, in-app notifications, or other contact methods associated with your account.
Users are encouraged to review the latest version of these Guidelines periodically. Continued access to or use of TALKIYO after an updated version becomes effective will constitute acceptance of the revised Guidelines to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Please provide sufficient information to help us identify the relevant account, content, or enforcement decision. TALKIYO will review such requests in accordance with its applicable policies and legal obligations and may reconsider the action where appropriate.
